HUBBARD Marguerite L. "Peg" Culcasi, 92, died Thursday afternoon November 18, 2010 at Victoria House. She was born April 7, 1918 in Hubbard, a daughter of Anthony and Angela Patrick Lombard and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Culcasi, a homemaker was a member of St. Patrick Church and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was chairman of the fish dinners in the old church which was partly responsible for fundraising for the construction of the new church.

Peg attended Youngstown College, enjoyed golfing, having golfed on the Yankee Run Golf League and the Fonderlac Golf League, was a member of the Hubbard Garden Quest and was an avid bridge player.

Her husband, Philip J. Culcasi, whom she married March 25, 1944, died January 1, 2001.

She leaves two sons, Tom (Judy) Culcasi of Lemont, IL and Jim (Patty) Culcasi of Poland; a daughter, Joan (Doug) Homer of Hubbard; six grandchildren, Phil (Tracy) Culcasi, Maria (Jake) May, David (Anna) Culcasi, Jill (Jeff) Sesplankis and Mike and Brad Homer; two great grandchildren, Abby and Beth Culcasi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Daniel Lombard and a sister, Catherine Lombard.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 9:30 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Family and friends may call on Sunday 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Victoria House for their loving care.

Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
