Margaret E. "Marge" Battista, 83, died Monday afternoon November 13, 2017 at Country Side at the Elmwood Assisted Living. She was born February 16, 1934 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Helen Mikovich and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Battista, a graduate of The Rayen High School was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching TV, was a Sci-Fi addict and loved cats.

Her husband, James L. Battista, whom she married August 29, 1959, died February 22, 2006.

She leaves a son, James (Susan) Battista of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Rebecca Morocco and Jessica Battista both of Hubbard and 1 grandson, Mark V. Morocco.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Activities Department at Countryside at the Elmwood Assisted Living, 871 Elmwood Dr., Hubbard, OH 44425.
