GIRARD Margaret "Marge" Kusmirek, 93, died Friday morning December 30, 2011 at Autumn Hills Nursing Home. She was born January 8, 1918 in Hubbard, a daughter of Casey and Pauline Pratt DeMatteo and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Kusmirek was a clerk at Atlantic Mills for 10 years and had worked at Powell Pressed Steel during the war. She was a member of St. Casimir Church in Youngstown and was a volunteer at church functions.

Her husband, Joseph N. Kusmirek, whom she married November 16, 1940, died September 28, 2009.

She leaves two daughters, Patricia (Jack) Ralston of Vienna and Michele (John) DePinto of Girard ; one brother, Anthony DeMatteo of Dunedin, FL; a sister, Theresann Mageros of Hubbard; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, John, Thomas, Orlando and Joseph DeMatteo and one great great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 12:00 PM at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday one hour prior to the services from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Patrick Church.
