HUBBARD Madeline L. Salerno, 84, of Hubbard, died Monday, April 19, 2004, at Liberty Health Care Center. She was born June 28, 1919, in Girard, a daughter of Louis and Lucille Moliterno Brine and lived in Hubbard since 1941.
Mrs. Salerno was a homemaker, an active member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard, serving as a reader, Eucharistic Minister, attending Scripture studies and Jewish-Christian Dialogues. She was a former charter member of The Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, Altar & Rosary Society and The Happy Wanderers.
Her husband, John A. Salerno, whom she married February 15, 1941, died November 18, 1998.
She leaves three daughters, Angela M. (Ken) Zumrick of Hubbard, Lucille M. (Tom) Tedrow of Davidson, NC and Mary Lou (Norman) Fineberg of Tampa, FL; a brother, Don Brine of Girard; six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband; her parents; brothers, Joseph, Nick and John Brine; sisters, Mary Cesene and Carrie Marino; great-grandchild, Jonathan Zumrick, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
