HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Friday, 10:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Church for Madaline M. Choppa, 82 of 236 Elmwood Dr. who died Monday evening at her home. She was born December 8, 1917, in New Castle, PA a daughter of John and Anna Keeley Ward and lived most of her life in the area.
Mrs. Choppa, also known as Mal, was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and Immaculate Conception Church, Youngstown. She enjoyed playing cards, family photography and growing houseplants, in particular African violets.
She leaves her husband, Louis J. Choppa, whom she married November 8, 1941; three sisters, Mary Catherine Clarke of Youngstown, Anne Murphy of Austintown and Peggy Bailey of Killeen, TX. A brother, Joseph Ward and a sister, Betty Choppa are deceased.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, 5 to 8 PM.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
