HUBBARD Lois E. Stitt, 72, died Tuesday evening, March 3, 2009 at O'Brien Memorial Nursing Home after a year long battle with cancer. She was born January 13, 1937 in Brookfield, a daughter of Glade and Mae D. Hamlin Clark and was a life long area resident.

Mrs. Stitt, a homemaker, was a member of the Hubbard Church of the Nazarene, where she served as a part time secretary. She was a 1955 graduate of Brookfield High School, worked for the Board of Elections for 27 years as a poll worker and enjoyed reading.

She leaves her husband, Harry T. Stitt, whom she married May 11, 1957; a son, Harry T. Stitt, Jr. of Hubbard; two sisters, Ruth Wray of Hubbard and Marge Rodgers of Fredonia, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Keith Stitt.

Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call on Sunday 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
