HUBBARD Mrs. Lois E. Nicholson Hoagland, 75, died Tuesday evening, June 12, 2001, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. She was born September 3, 1925 in Cherry Tree, PA a daughter of Roy E. and Maude Stiles McDannell and lived in Hubbard for 14 years coming from Youngstown.
Mrs. Hoagland, a homemaker, was a member of the Salem Methodist Church, Spruce, PA, the John Kennedy Democratic Club of Mahoning County and enjoyed crafts, sewing and crocheting.
Her husband, Earl Hoagland whom she married in July 1964, died August 23, 1986. She leaves two sons, Donald D. Nicholson of Masury and Wayne M. Nicholson of Hubbard; two brothers, Vernon R. and Frederick D. McDannell both of Cherry Tree, PA; two sisters, Mary L. Guthrie of Akron, OH and Verda Clark of Erie, PA; one grandson, three granddaughters, three great grandsons and six great granddaughters. Two brothers, Allen V. and Ronald H. McDannell and a sister, Louise Weakland are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard. Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard on Thursday 5 to 8 PM.
