HUBBARD Linda L. Steele, 84, died Wednesday morning July 31, 2024 at Austintown Health Care Center. She was born September 22, 1939 in Emeigh, PA a daughter of George T. and Elma M. Hallman Ruby and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Steele was a 1957 graduate of Hubbard High School. She was a longtime payroll coordinator for Aeroquip and later GF Furniture. Linda was a former member of the Youngstown Charter Chapter of the ABWA. Her greatest joy during retirement was the relationship she built with the Trobek family and watching Noelle grow into the amazing young woman she is today.

She leaves a sister, Anita Hearn and her husband Jay of Brookfield and numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Norman R. Ruby and three sisters, Shirley Phillips, Patricia Lockso and Darla Marsh.

Family and friends may call on Saturday August 10, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home.

Memorial services will follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Robert Hanna officiating.
