Lillian Flen's Obituary

HUBBARD Lillian Elizabeth Flen, 83, entered into eternal glory on December 12, 2012 at Northside Hospital Medical Center. She was born March 31, 1929 in New Kensington, PA, a daughter of Stanley and Elizabeth Brechany Osesky and has lived in Hubbard since 1955.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Peter Flen of fifty-five years, whom she married July 9, 1954 and died January 4, 2010; three brothers, August, Stanley and Paul; a half sister, Millie; three sisters, Anne and infants Violet and Emma.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Linda (John) Bosela, her son, John (Joan) Flen, her daughter, Donna (Jeff) Bosela, her brother, Edward Osesky; a nephew and nieces.

Lillian was a 1947 graduate of New Kensington High School in Pennsylvania. She formerly worked as a secretary for Alcoa Aluminum Company in New Kensington, PA and for the International Institute in Youngstown. She was a member of the New Covenant Worship Center, Church of the Nazarene, in Youngstown.

Lillian will be lovingly remembered for being the very incarnation of kindness. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Lillian loved her Lord and adored her family first and foremost, especially her five grandchildren, Dana, Dylan, Ryan, Colton and Briannia. Animals, especially cats, had a special place in her heart. She cared for many animals during her years working alongside her husband on the family farm. She also enjoyed ballroom dancing, singing, writing letters, watching cooking shows and baking. She made incredible kolachi that was considered unequivocably the best that there ever was. Her beautiful blue eyes were unforgettable and her sweetness was only exceeded by her big sweet tooth.

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Psalm 116:15
