HUBBARD Mrs. Lawanah (Wannie) Harris, 83, of Hubbard, died Thursday morning, January 2, 2003, at Autumn Hills Care Center. She was born July 17, 1919 in Youngstown, a daughter of Conrad G. and Bertha Covey Berger and was a lifelong area resident moving to Hubbard in 1947.

Mrs. Harris, a homemaker, was a member of Central Christian Church, Hubbard, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher, Deaconess and substitute organist. She was a former member of the Fortnightly Club and Garden Quest Club.

Her husband, F. Kenneth Harris, whom she married November 7, 1939, died March 29, 1994. She leaves a son, Kenneth R. (Nancy) Harris of New Wilmington, PA; a daughter, Janice (Andrew) Bayus of Cortland; five grandchildren and one great grandson. A sister, Laura Wren is deceased.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
