Laura "Lory" Clark's Obituary

Laura (Lory) Lea Clark, 41, surrounded by family, friends, and an outpouring of love, gracefully answered her call to eternal peace and passed away on April 26, 2006, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

She was born to J. Benjamin Swank and Margie Elaine Pruett on April 7, 1965, in Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Her family moved to West Farmington, Ohio, where she met her husband Charles C. Clark III and was wed on May 10, 1983. From their union they were joined by daughter Jeannie O. Clark and son Charles C. Clark IV.

Laura graduated from Farmington Local High School in 1983, and had attended the Kent State University Trumbull Campus. She resided in Bristolville, Ohio for a number of years prior to making residency in Williamsfield Township, Ohio. Although our hearts are filled with sadness and loss, let the strength, love, and peace that she abundantly shared help us through this time of mourning, and to embrace one another with the same compassion that Lory gave to all of us.

Laura was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Champion, Ohio.

Laura fought a courageous journey from which many battles were won and she leaves to celebrate her life her beloved husband Charles C. Clark III, daughter Jeannie (Anthony Fusco) Clark, Youngstown, OH; Charles C. Clark IV, Niles, OH; father Ben (Sandy) Swank, Medina, OH; mother Margie Elaine (Ray) Pruett, Panama City, FL; paternal grandmother Doris Ruth Gordon, Medina, OH; one grandchild, Anthony J. She was preceded to her eternal resting place by her grandparents Samuel Swank, Lorine Taylor, and Mable and Clarence Post, and Charles C. Clark Jr.
