HUBBARD TWP Kathleen Ann Toke, 57, died Friday afternoon August 9, 2013 at her home. She was born April 4, 1956 in Youngstown, a daughter of John Edgar and Margaret Catherine Scheckelhoff Benton and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Toke, a 1975 graduate of Hubbard High School, was assistant manager for Gorant Candy on Belmont Ave. for 17 years and had previously worked for Philadelphia Candy in Hermitage for 2 years. Kathleen loved reading, gardening and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves her father, John Edgar Benton of Hubbard; her husband, Andrew G. Toke Jr., whom she married October 23, 1976; a son, Andrew G. (Annette) Toke III of Hubbard; two daughters, Melissa (Pete) Snyder and Julie (Rob) Bentley both of Hubbard; four brothers, Mike (Debbie) Benton, Dan Benton, John (Sonja) Benton and Jim (Gigi) Benton all of Hubbard and a sister, Mary (Ken) Smith of Sharon, PA. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Kylee, Brody, Ella, AJ, Nolan, Alanna and Addalyn and many nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Scheckelhoff Benton.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
There are no funeral services.
