HUBBARD Katherine Weiss, 88, of Hubbard, died Friday morning, December 8, 2006, at Northside Medical Center. She was born on November 24, 1918, in Campbell, a daughter of Anton and Anna Truban Stefanich and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Weiss was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Her husband, Eugene M. Weiss, whom she married in June of 1936, died on September 27, 1978.

She leaves two sons, Dennis (Patty) Weiss of Liberty and J. William Weiss of Boardman; two daughters, Betty Jones of Boardman and Kathy (Reverend Sam) De Joy of Brookfield; two sisters, Rose Demyen of Hubbard and Mary Frances Vranich of Wexford, PA; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, her parents, a son, Donald Weiss, brothers, Anthony and Dr. William Stefanich, sisters, Anna Rich, Julia Calabria and her twin sister, Elizabeth Benchwick,
preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home, prior to the services.
