HUBBARD Katherine A. Rappach, 86, of Hubbard, died on Sunday morning, March 2, 2008, at her residence. She was born on September 9, 1921, in Hubbard, a daughter of George and Mary Antolich Vukovich and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Rappach, a homemaker, was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard and Sts. Peter & Paul Croatian Church in Youngstown and its Altar & Rosary Society. She also was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge #66 and was an avid bowler.

Her husband, John Rappach, whom she married in November 1941, died on November 10, 1985.

She leaves two sons, John J. (Phyllis) Rappach and James J. (Bonnie) Rappach, both of Hubbard; two brothers, Joseph (Marie) Vukovich of Hubbard and Paul (Terrie) Vukovich of Fayetteville, NC; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, Peter and Michael Vukovich and two sisters, Jennie Vukovich and Ann Zitnik.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.

Family and friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
