HUBBARD Katherine A. Onestak, 79, of Hubbard, died Thursday afternoon at her home. She was born June 18, 1923 in Liberty Twp., a daughter of George and Barbara Gunerich Bereck and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Onestak, a homemaker, had previously worked for George Hopes Insurance Agency. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and enjoyed cooking, reading and gardening.

Her husband, John Onestak, whom she married December 1, 1945, died July 16, 1998; she leaves two daughters, Kathleen A. (Steven) Kupper of Temperence, MI and Barbara E. (Reza) Patala of Laurel, MD; a brother, Nicholas E. Novosel of Hubbard; a sister, Barbara Yaksik of Hubbard and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ignatz, Mike and Joseph and a sister, Ann Jacobs.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:15 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard.

Friends may call on Sunday, 2 to 5 PM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.
