HUBBARD Julia H. Tickey, 89 of Hubbard, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at her residence. She was born April 6, 1915, in Hubbard, a daughter of Michael and Mary Dudash Turchan and was a life long Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Tickey was a cook for the Hubbard High School cafeteria for many years retiring in 1975. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and its Altar Guild and she enjoyed cooking, baking and crocheting.

Her husband, Stephen R. Tickey, whom she married October 22, 1935, died May 22, 1962. She leaves two daughters, Shirley A. (Chuck) LaCivita and K. Jeanie Lynn, both of Hubbard; a sister, Irene Policy of Hubbard; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Her parents, six sisters, Elizabeth Griz, Mary Bolchalk, Ann Zieme, Barbara Gerdine, Susan Turchan and Mamie Carson and a brother, Joseph Turchan are deceased.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, Hubbard.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Monday, 5 to 8 PM and at church on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 111 Hall Ave., Hubbard, Ohio 44425.
