CHAMPION Julia Ann Coxson, 82, of Champion, died Friday evening, October 7, 2005, at Windsor House at Champion. She was born August 23, 1923, in Cleveland, a daughter of Stanley J. and Stephania Mosinski Kubuj and was a life long area resident.
Mrs. Coxson was a cook for the Champion Local School District and retired in 1985 as head cook. She was a member of the Champion Christian Church and the Ladies Aid group of the church and enjoyed quilting, bowling, cooking and spending time with her family. She was a 1941 graduate of Greene High School.
She leaves her husband, Charles W. Coxson, whom she married May 15, 1943; two sons, Terry L. (Phyllis) Coxson of Cortland, Timothy C. (Jean) Coxson of Bradenton, FL; one daughter, Shirley A. (John) Bartynski of Baltimore, MD; one brother, Eddie Kubuj of Mecca, OH; two sisters, Lucy Milanich of Rocky River, OH and Irene Roth of Conneaut, OH; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Her parents and two sisters, Sophia Leeper and Jane Filmore are deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5to 8 pm and on Tuesday from 10 to 11am.
