Biography





HUBBARD Julia Aggers, 88, died Thursday evening November 11, 2010 at Guardian Health Care. She was born September 8, 1922 in Ambridge, PA a daughter of Peter and Anna Hercha Samulka and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Aggers, was a housekeeper at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center for many years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, the Slovak Ladies and was an avid bingo player.

Her husband, Donald B. Aggers, whom she married February 28, 1946, died October 27, 1978.

She leaves two sons, Donald Aggers of Andover and Pete (Jan Kovacs) Aggers of Hubbard; a daughter, Judith Dianne Miller of Hubbard; a brother, John (Shirley) Samulka of Hubbard; two sisters, Helen Clark of Youngstown and Margaret Dressel of Hubbard; a brother in law, Andrew Baker; three grandchildren, Mark (Pauline) Miller, Beth (Mike) Gordon and Amanda Burrell; eight great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, George Kostecky and Paul Samulka and four sisters, Carolyn Sue Kostecky, Mary Bishop, Anna Baker and Pauline Samulka.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
