HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Josephine J. "JoJo" Zackasee, 51, who died Friday morning August 3, 2012 at her home. She was born February 12, 1961 in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles P. and Freda Mae Poma and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.
JoJo was a member of Coalburg United Methodist Church and worked in the maintenance department for the Hubbard Public School System. She had previously worked for Palumbo's Meat Market and Store Systems & Services. JoJo loved cooking, gardening, fishing, swimming and traveling.
She leaves her husband, Scott E. Zackasee, whom she married October 16, 1993; two sisters, Charlene Poma of Rochester, NY and Denice Poma of Plano, TX; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her niece Michelle Flores and nephew Eric Poma were like her own children. She also leaves her cat Chico.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles P. Poma II.
Family and friends may call on Monday 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
