BELLEVUE, NE Josephine G. Poma, 69, died Saturday evening, February 6, 2010 at Alegent Midlands Community Hospital in Papillion, NE. She was born April 13, 1940 in Struthers, a daughter of M. Joseph and Mamie Rose Baranco Poma.

Miss Poma was a Master Seargent in the United States Air Force for 20 years retiring in 1978. She then worked for the United States Postal Service, retiring after 18 years. Josephine was of the Catholic faith and loved animals.

She leaves a sister, Rosemary Spurio of Liberty Twp., several nieces and nephews and a lifetime friend, Almeda Miller.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Joseph Jr., Charles and James Poma; three sisters, Roseann Poma, Bertha Bischoff and Dolores P. Morton.

Family and friends may call on Friday, 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Omaha, NE.

Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
