HUBBARD Memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 3:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Joseph Wetzl, 62, who died Thursday afternoon May 7, 2015 at his home. He was born July 21, 1952 in Youngstown, a son of Adam and Mary Louise Knebel Wetzl and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Wetzl served with the United States Navy as a boiler technician during the Vietnam War and received his Pastoral degree from Hyles Anderson College. He was the Pastor and a member at Grace Covenant Ministries Church in Southington for 15 years. Joseph also worked for Meridian Services and was the Client Care Coordinator for the men's center. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, working in his yard and spending time with his family.

Joseph leaves his wife, the former Lillian Tirado, whom he married October 28, 1978; a son, Samuel J. Wetzl of Austin, TX; two daughters, Elizabeth A. (Joshua) Hamm of Hubbard and Joanna K. (Jodi) Wetzl of Mercer, PA; a brother, Adam J. (Patti) Wetzl of North Lima; three sisters, Mary (Tony) Pantone of Hubbard, Barbara (Joe Jones) Rochette of Leetonia and Frances (Tom) Fullerman of Canfield; two grandchildren, Charity and Joseph Hamm along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
