HUBBARD Mr. Joseph R. Tranick, 77, of Hubbard, died Tuesday March 4, 2003 at Northside Hospital Medical Center. He was born May 6, 1925 in Sharpsville, PA a son of Joseph and Margaret Amerling Tranick and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Tranick was a Plumbing Consultant for the State of Ohio for 20 years retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and served with the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the Ohio Association of Plumbing Inspectors and the UA Local Union 87, Plumbers and Steamfitters.

His first wife, the former Rosemary A. Antenucci, whom he married August 3, 1946, died April 12, 1971; his second wife, the former, Helen D. Mayorga, whom he married August 2, 1975, died February 24, 1998. He leaves a son, Richard J. (Margaret) Tranick of Hubbard; one stepson, Robert J. (Mary Jane) McIntyre of New Middletown; two daughters, Charmayne (William) Hardman of Youngstown and Rosemary (Jeff) Heckman of Boardman; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Margaret Carano.

Private services were held Friday morning at St. Patrick Cemetery.

There were no calling hours.
