LIBERTY TWP. Joseph Marx, 84, of Liberty Twp., died Friday afternoon, June 11, 2004, at Northside Medical Center. He was born December 7, 1919, in Brookfield, a son of Josef and Rosie Aman Wojir and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Marx worked for LTV Steel for 35 years. He was a Liberty Twp. Volunteer Fireman for over 40 years and was a U. S. Army veteran, serving during World War II.

He leaves his wife, the former Joan Carey, whom he married July 8, 1950; a son, Joseph Benton Marx and a granddaughter, Kelly Elizabeth Marx, both of Liberty Twp.

Preceding him in death were his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Richard Brown Memorial United Methodist Church in Youngstown.

There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements were handled by the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.
