HUBBARD Private funeral services were held Wednesday August 20, 2014 for Joseph F. Koscinski, 80, who died Sunday morning August 17, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born August 10, 1934 in New Castle, a son of Joseph S. and Mary E. Kwolek Koscinski and had lived in Hubbard for 34 years.
Mr. Koscinski, a graduate of Shenango High School, was a tool and die foreman at Packard Electric, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. Joseph played the accordion in the band Pikers. He loved to fish, golf and was an avid Steelers fan.
He leaves his wife, the former Patricia A. Casacchia, whom he married July 19, 1980; a son, Kevin (Tammy) Koscinski of Vienna and their three children, Jacob, Joseph and Katelyn; two brothers, Walter (Patricia) Koscinski of Slippery Rock and Thomas (Deloris) Koscinski of New Castle. He also leaves several children and grandchildren from a previous marriage.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Leonard Koscinski and a grandson, Joseph.
Joseph's final resting place will be Hubbard Union Cemetery.
