DAYTON Joseph V. Guerriero, 76, formerly of Struthers, died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Kettering Medical Center, Kettering, OH. He was born May 15, 1933 in Struthers, a son of Anthony and Mabel Corvino Guerriero.

Mr. Guerriero was an electrical engineer for General Motors for 26 years, retiring in 1992. He served with the United States Army and was a member of Vandalia United Methodist Church, Vandalia, OH. He was a 1951 graduate of Struthers High Schoolk and also a graduate of the Youngstown State University Rayen School of Engineering.

He leaves his wife, the former Patti Tregaskes, whom he married October 17, 1969; a son, Dr. David Guerriero of Dayton; a daughter, Dawn Guerriero of Dayton; a brother, Frank Guerriero of Poland; three sisters, Elvera Martino and Mary (Sam) Frasco both of Youngstown and Jeannie (Mike) Fisher of Strongsville; three grandchildren, Trevor, Aidan and Madeline.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
