HUBBARD Joseph E. Fulytar, Sr. 82 of Hubbard, died Saturday afternoon, November 1, 2003, at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1921, in Filbert, PA, a son of John and Bertha Franks Fulytar and lived most of his life in this area.

Mr. Fulytar worked for the former Truscon Steel Corp. for 33 years, retiring in 1974. He then worked for the Hubbard Public Schools as a bus driver and in bus maintenance for 11 years.

A member of St. Patrick Church, he had served as an usher and enjoyed sports, woodworking and fishing. He served with the Army Air Force as a Staff Sergeant in World War II.

He leaves his wife, the former Irene Cassidy, whom he married October 19, 1946; four sons, John J. (Judy) Fulytar, William R. (Susan) Fulytar, Joseph E. (Eileen) Fulytar Jr. all of Hubbard and Richard M. (Catherine) Fulytar of Howland; two sisters, Margaret Fulytar and Marie Bogan, both of Boardman; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

His parents and a sister, Bertha Luebben, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 9:15 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, 6 to 8 PM.
