HUBBARD John C. Wilcox, 72, died Tuesday morning June 18, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. He was born July 10, 1940 in Farrell, a son of Clifford and Mary E. Hollibaugh Wilcox and has lived in Hubbard since 1964.

Mr. Wilcox was the owner and operator of East Hill Florist for 36 years. He received his Sociology Degree in three years from Edinboro State University. John loved helping people, donating his time and talents to the people of Hubbard, enjoyed traveling and loved his grandchildren.

He leaves his wife of 47 years, the former Mary B. Balciar, whom he married June 5, 1966; a son, Michael (Kendra) Wilcox of Hubbard; two daughters, Dr. Suzanne Wilcox of Hubbard, Tammy Wilcox of Hubbard and two grandsons Joshua and Benjamin.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Fr. Tim O'Neill Officiating.

Family and friends may call on Friday 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery at a later date.
