HUBBARD John D. Puckett, 79, died Monday afternoon, July 22, 2013, at his home. He was born December 10, 1933 in Lawrence County Indiana, a son of Raymond and Ilene Emery Puckett.

John attended five universities earning two degrees, a Bachelor's and Master's in Industrial Engineering. He held several positions in business and has published numerous articles in trade journals. John's passion in life was understanding the bible and serving his Lord. He has written several books on understanding God's word. He was a member of The Gospel Assembly, Green Ohio and also loved to golf.

John is survived by his two children, Jason Puckett of Indianapolis, IN and Lauren Puckett of Grand Rapids, MI and his longtime companion Linda Barnes of Hubbard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
