MASURY Mr. John J. Levitsky, 86, of Orange Village Nursing Home, formerly of Hubbard, died Wednesday afternoon at the home. He was born November 26, 1914 in Sharon, PA a son of John and Anna March Levitsky and lived in Hubbard for 44 years coming from Sharon.
Mr. Levitsky was a Ram Truck Operator for Sharon Steel for 30 years before retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard, and served with the United States Army during World War II. John was a deeply religious man and enjoyed dancing and music.
He leaves his wife, the former Gwendolyn Geraldine Rhodabaugh Prince, whom he married October 13, 1957; a stepson, John J. Suhy of Youngstown ; four stepdaughters, Gwendolyn Davis of Smith Mountain Lake, VA, Barbara Ann Sauline of Newaygo, MI, Carol Diane Bigelow, and Delores Balint both of Liberty; two brothers, Paul and Andy Levitsky both of Masury, OH; 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. A brother, Michael Levitsky and two sisters, Ann Cross and Mary Levitsky are deceased.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard, and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard.
Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Friday 7 to 9 PM.
