HUBBARD John L. Hentosh, 86, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center in Cleveland. He was born January 19, 1922, in Girard, OH, a son of Julius and Catherine Podolak Hentosh and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Hentosh retired from U.S. Steel after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Ukranian Catholic Church, St. Patrick Church of Hubbard and the VFW Hubbard Post No. 3767. John served with the United States Army during World War II. He enjoyed golfing and was an avid Cleveland Browns and New York Yankees fan.

He leaves his wife, Teresa M., whom he married June 1, 1956; five sons, John Hentosh of Burbank, CA, Jerre (Elaine) Hentosh of Warren, David Hentosh of Pennsylvania, Mark (Janice) Hentosh of Strongsville and Patrick Hentosh of Columbus; two daughters, Dr. Marlene (Mike) Covey of Bend, OR and Gina (Scott) Nelson of Sylvania, OH; two sisters, Mary Schultz of Vienna and Frances Krizancic of Girard; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Michael and Steve Hentosh.

Private funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
