HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 2, 2017 at 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Swierz officiating for John Edward "Ed" Shellock, 65, who died Friday afternoon February 24, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born September 9, 1951 in Youngstown, a son of John R. and Frances A. Wanchow Shellock and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Shellock, a 1969 graduate of Ursuline High School received his drafting diploma from ITT Technical Institute and was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.

Ed retired from Newell Rubbermaid in Mogadore after 17 years of service and previously worked for Hardrives Paving and Construction in Youngstown and also Sheet and Tube Campbell Works, where he was a shop steward in the United Steel Workers Union.

He leaves a sister, Marie A. Shellock of Hubbard, and many cousins and friends.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may call on Thursday March 2, 2017, one hour prior to the funeral services from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Ed's final resting place will be at St. Patrick Cemetery.
