HUBBARD John S. Bizub, 81, died Saturday morning, June 12, 2010 at his home. He was born February 12, 1929 in Campbell, a son of John and Mary Bizub and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Bizub was a cement finisher for RC Organ Construction for 30 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Boardman where he was an elder and served with the United States Army during the Korean War. He loved gardening, riding his Allis Chalmers tractor and his family.
He leaves his wife of 60 years, the former Anna Marie Butcher, whom he married February 1, 1950; a son, John (Darla) Bizub of Hubbard; two daughters, Joan M. Bizub Hall of Hubbard and Cindy Wiley of Arlington, TX; two brothers, Ed (Pat) Bizub of New Bedford and Frank (Irma) Bizub of Lowellville; two sisters, Marge Paget of Struthers and Ann Cameron of Pulaski; four grandchildren, Jodie Ann Hall Stipanovich, George Hall, JR Bizub and Becky Jo Wiley; three great grandchildren, David Ryan, Anthony John and Zachary Thomas; four step great grandchildren, Josh, Alyssa, Jordan and Katie Stipanovich and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Joe Bizub and four sisters, Josephine Salaka, Mary Schaffer, Rosy Harris and Dorothy Kupiec and two son in laws, George E. Hall and Donald Wiley.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
