HUBBARD John P. Batta, 80, of Hubbard, died Monday morning, March 7, 2005, at Briarfield at Ashley Circle. He was born January 26, 1925, in Hubbard, a son of Emeric J. and Stella Crnic Batta and was a life long Hubbard resident.

Mr. Batta worked for Conrail for 37 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Youngstown.

He leaves two sisters, Helen M. (Al) Sipusic of Niles and Wilma J. Quinn of Hubbard; two nieces and three nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a half brother, Emeric Batta.

Private funeral services will be held on Wednesday.
