A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for Jimmie Johnston, 80, of Hubbard who passed away at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015 in Trumbull Memorial Hospital

Mr. Johnston was born on July 2, 1935 in Youngstown, the son of the late William T. and Kathryn A. (Reeves) Johnston and live in Hubbard most of his life.

He was a lithographer for US Can and Sherwin Williams for over 38 years retiring in 1990. Jimmie was also a self employed carpenter most of his life, building various homes and buildings throughout Hubbard. He was an avid golfer, participating in various leagues and enjoyed tinkering with his cars. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan, he coached youth soccer.

Jimmie was a member of Coalburg United Methodist Church.

Mr. Johnston is survived by seven children Michael Johnston of Naples, Mark Johnston of Youngstown, Thomas (Jan) Johnston, James Johnston, Mathew (Jodi) Johnston all of Hubbard; Cathy (Bill) Cummings, Lisa Johnston both of Hubbard; two step children Mark (Michelle) Ackworth of Hubbard and Leeann Riccardi of Howland; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and a brother Robert Johnston of Girard.

Besides his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Burial will take place at Corner House Christian Cemetery in Hubbard.
