HUBBARD Jim J. Koval, 51, of Hubbard, died Thursday afternoon, June 26, 2003, at his residence. He was born September 13, 1951, in Youngstown, a son of Michael R. and Margaret Smith Koval and was a life long area resident.
Mr. Koval was a press operator employed by Commercial Metal Forming for the past 9 years. He was formerly employed by Youngstown Welding and Engineering, where he worked for 25 years. Mr. Koval was a member of M & M's Collectors Club, Parker Hannifin and Eight Ball Men's Bowling League and Local # 02332 Steelworkers Union. He attended Holy Name School, Choffin Vocational School and was a 1969 graduate of Chaney High School.
In addition to his parents, Michael and Margaret Koval of Youngstown, he leaves his wife, the former Judy Grant, whom he married January 30, 1976; two sons, Larry (Kathy) Jugenheimer, of Youngstown and Mike (Colleen) Jugenheimer of North Port, Florida; one daughter, Jennifer (Eric) Johns, of Canfield; three brothers, Mickey (Robin) Koval, of Wooster, OH, Andy (Susie) Koval, of Youngstown, and Kenny (Lisa) Koval, of North Jackson, OH; three sisters, Louise (Bill) Spencer, of Austintown, Rosey Reigelman and Kathy (Mike) Hyland, both of Youngstown; four grandchildren, Jonathon Rhodes, Jessica Jugenheimer, Zachary Jugenheimer, and Justin Johns.
Funeral services for Mr. Koval will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, Hubbard.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
