HUBBARD Jerry E. Casey, 78, of Hubbard, died Monday morning, July 17, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Health Center. He was born April 26, 1928, in Youngstown, a son of Jerry and Teresa Adams Casey and lived in Hubbard for 45 years.
Mr. Casey was a bricklayer for the Republic Steel Division of LTV Steel Corporation for 40 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard and a
U. S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War. Jerry enjoyed traveling, swimming and working puzzles.
He leaves his wife, the former Alice DeSantis, whom he married on June 10, 1961; two sons, Anthony (Mary Lou) Pascarella and William M. (Bridget) Casey, both of Dayton, OH; two daughters, Annette (Steve) Micheline of Hubbard and Joyce Pishkur of Clayton, NC; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
His parents and a brother, Richard Casey, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
