HUBBARD Jerome A. Campana, 85 of Hubbard, died Saturday afternoon, September 6, 2003, at St. Joseph Hospital, Warren. He was born August 25, 1918, in Hubbard a son of Andrew and Angeline Carano Campana and was a life long Hubbard resident.
Mr. Campana worked for GATX for 41 years before retiring. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Hubbard Post 3767 and enjoyed golfing. He was an Army veteran serving in World War II.
His wife, the former Rose Olieo, whom he married July 21, 1943, died April 18, 1990. He leaves two sons, Jerome R. (Margie) Campana of Hubbard and Joseph F. (Barbara) Campana of Youngtown; two brothers, Tom Campana of Kent and Al Campana of Struthers; two sisters, Mary Ellen Hoolihan of Champion and Norma Clemente of Struthers; three grandchildren, Jerome M. Campana of Bridgeport, OH, Melissa K. Campana and Nicole Campana, both of Hubbard; one great grandson, Nicholas Campana.
His parents, one sister, Carmel Karcher and three brothers, John, George and Ralph Campana, preceded him in death.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard.
