LIBERTY TWP Janet Mae Cannell, 77, died Wednesday afternoon, March 30, 2011 at Hospice House. She was born December 27, 1933 in Patton, PA a daughter of Andrew and Matilda Barchen Weller and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Cannell was a Registered Nurse for Dr. Edward M. Baughman for 20 years and also volunteered at Liberty Health Care. She enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Ladies Pine Lakes Golf Club, was an avid horseback rider, enjoyed traveling and was a longtime friend of Bill W.

She leaves her husband, Samuel W. Cannell, whom she married May 26, 1956; a son, Gregory (Noreen) Cannell of Liberty; three daughters, Kimberly (David) Tullis of Toledo, Karen Caswell of Arlington, VA and Lisa (Richard) Boucher of Kettering; two brothers, James T. Weller and Andrew J. Weller both of Liberty and six grandchildren, Aarron, Ashley, Westen, Ryan, Collin and Austin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Virginia Weller.

Funeral services will be held Monday 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Family and friends may call on Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of The Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512 or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 5208 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, OH 44515.

Entombment will be at Crown Hill Burial Park.
