Biography

LOWELLVILLE Janet L. Bell, 69, died Tuesday afternoon December 20, 2011 at her home. She was born October 5, 1942 in Grove City, PA, a daughter of David Harold and Dorothy McGuire McCurdy and moved to Lowellville in 1985 coming from Grove City.

Mrs. Bell was a bus driver for Campbell Schools, retiring September 1, 2011. She had previously worked at the Grove City Police Department as a Dispatcher, was a truck driver for Gene Thompson Trucking for 7 years and had worked at General Electric.

Janet graduated from North High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Columbia Pacific University and took classes for accounting and sign language. She was a member of Bible Baptist Temple in Campbell and loved her son and school bus kids.

Her husband, Argie Bell, whom she married in 1975, died in 1986.

She leaves a son, William Joseph Fisher of Lowellville; a brother, Robert McCurdy of Bullhead City, AZ; a niece, Dodie of Arizona and a nephew Robert Jr. of Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece DeeDee.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home in Hubbard.

Family and friends may call on Monday 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park.
