Obituary


HUBBARD Funeral services will be held Saturday, 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, Hubbard for Mr. James A. Williams, 85 of 358 Stewart Ave., who died Wednesday evening at Northside Medical Center.

He was born October 9, 1915 in Hubbard, a son of Guy and Minnie Scarpine Williams and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mr. Williams worked for General Fireproofing for 38 years before retiring in 1977. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and served with the United States Army during World War II. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus Hubbard Council 2072, a former member of the Owls Club, Northside Club and Marconi Club. Mr. Williams was an avid golfer and reader.

He leaves his wife, the former Mary A. Madeline, whom he married February 12, 1941; a son, Donald "Fats" Williams of Hubbard; two daughters, Donna Sandy of Weathersfield Twp, OH and Deborah Williams of Hubbard; two brothers, Michael and Daniel Williams both of Hubbard and two sisters, Julia and Rose Mary Williams both of Hubbard. A son, James Williams, three brothers, Nick, Lou and William Williams and two sisters, Theresa Palumbo and Julia Williams are deceased.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home on Friday 5 to 8 PM.

Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Hubbard, OH.
