HUBBARD James W. Palko Sr., 83, died Tuesday morning June 3, 2025 at his home. He was born November 22, 1941 in Youngstown, a son of William G. and Bernice Rhel Palko.

Mr. Palko, a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed reading books about history and especially the Civil War.

His wife, the former Donna Jean Zadravec, whom he married September 4, 1965, died October 12, 2012.

He leaves a son, James W. Palko Jr. and his companion Sharon Ketterer of West Middlesex, PA and a brother, William Palko and his wife Judy of Sheffield Lake, OH.

James was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Donna; an infant daughter, Lea Ann Palko; daughter-in-law, Kristine Sandberg Palko and a brother, John Palko.

Family and friends may call on Monday Jun 9, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 12 Noon at the funeral home with Deacon John Bartos officiating.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
