HUBBARD James Edward McDowell, 68, died Wednesday morning March 13, 2024 at Washington Square Healthcare. He was born November 23, 1955 in Youngstown, a son of James and Ann Puncekar McDowell.

Mr. McDowell served with the United States Navy and was a self-employed truck driver for over 25 years. After retiring he was a parts runner for O'Reilly Auto Parts in Hubbard. James enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He leaves his wife, the former Aisulu U. Galiautdinova, whom he married February 1, 2013; four sons, Stephen, Dillon, Nicholas and Sean McDowell; two daughters, Sue Ann McDowell and Alicia Putmon; a sister, Jean Ann Sanko and her husband James; three grandchildren; two nephews, Brian and Scott Sanko and numerous friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday March 26, 2024, one hour prior to the services from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home with The Very Rev. Michael Swierz officiating.
