HUBBARD James J. Fitzsimmons Jr., 82, of Hubbard, died Friday evening, March 7, 2008, at Hospice House. He was born March 25, 1925, in Cleveland, OH, a son of James J. Sr. and Grace Beeler Fitzsimmons and lived most of his life in this area.

Mr. Fitzsimmons was of the Protestant faith, an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.

His wife, the former Ruth Eileen Shea, whom he married October 26, 1954, died March 21, 2006. He leaves one son, James J. (Darla) Fitzsimmons III of Hubbard; two daughters, Ruth Pugliese of Hermitage and Eileen (Joseph) Fulytar of Hubbard; one brother, Bob Fitzsimmons of Niles; five grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Earl Fitzsimmons.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 pm.
