HUBBARD James Fabian, Sr., 83, of Hubbard, died Thursday morning, August 3, 2006, at his residence. He was born April 8, 1923, in Youngstown, a son of Joseph and Mary Szilzia Fabian and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Fabian worked at U. S. Steel Corp., Ohio Works, in Youngstown for 33 ½ years, retiring in 1980. Jim was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard and enjoyed John Deere tractors.

He leaves his wife, the former Anna Theresa Patzek, whom he married on November 27, 1943; a son, James (Ramonda) Fabian, Jr. of Crofton, MD; seven daughters, Claudia Dugan of Struthers, Mary Ann (Scott) Wood of North Jackson, Gina (John) LaBelle of Newark, OH, Patty (Tony) Boggs of Struthers, Arlene (Arthur) Ginnetti of Struthers, Pam (John, Jr.) Ruggieri of Hubbard and Bev (Tony) Ward of Austintown; three brothers, Victor Fabian of Ellijay, GA, Edward Fabian of Roseville, CA and Ronald Fabian of Fayetteville, AR; five sisters, Marilyn Wagner of Sebring, Kathy Koblak of Las Vegas, Theresa Kollan of Cocoa Beach, FL, Joan Rose of Medina and Dorothy Fabian of Liberty Twp.; 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

His parents, a son, James Joseph Fabian, brothers, Joseph Fabian, George Fabian, Frank Fabian, Chuck Fabian, John Fabian and Paul Faith and sisters, Ann Fitzsimmons Phillips, Rose Lance and Mary Garovich, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be on Monday, 9:30 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
