HUBBARD James Douglas Drahos, 69, died Thursday evening January 15, 2015 at Sharon Regional Health System. He was born February 14, 1945 in Youngstown, a son of Joseph Frank Ethel Turocy Drahos.
Mr. Drahos was a maintenance supervisor for Youngstown State University for 10 years and was previously a pipe tester for Sawhill Tube for 42 years. James enjoyed fishing, camping and the Cleveland Browns. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart, played football with them and had a special bond with his Nephew Tyler.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, the former Bernice Svabik whom he married December 31, 1965; which he met through relatives and was love at first sight; three daughters; one brother; two sisters and 5 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
There are no calling hours or funeral services.
