HUBBARD Jacqueline J. Roskie, 86, died Sunday morning January 3, 2016 at Park Vista. She was born February 15, 1929 in Youngstown, a daughter of Carl E. and Eva L. Hanes Jagger and lived most of her life in Hubbard.
Mrs. Roskie, a homemaker, was a member of Chestnut Ridge Church of God, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher. Jackie was also a former member of the Evangelical Congregational Church where she taught Sunday school for 38 years. She enjoyed calligraphy, decorative art and flower arranging.
Her husband, Glenn F. Roskie, whom she married September 26, 1949, died December 29, 2005.
She leaves a son, Jeffrey L. (Jeannie) Roskie of Campbell; a daughter, Karen R. (Rev. William C.) Mead of Vero Beach, FL; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and one great great grandson, Colin.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-father, Carl D. Green; two brothers, Donald E. Jagger and C. William Green and two sisters, Dorothy E. Price and Ella Mae Smith.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday January 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Chestnut Ridge Church of God in Hubbard.
There are no calling hours.
The family wishes to thank Senior Independence Hospice and the staff and management at Park Vista for taking care of our mother.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Jackie's final resting place will be at Corner House Cemetery.
