HUBBARD Jack G. Young, 72, of Hubbard, died Monday morning, March 19, 2007, at Liberty Health Care Center. He was born on May 18, 1934, in Youngstown, a son of Alfred D. and Agnes Sefscick Young and lived in Hubbard for over fifty years.
Mr. Young, an entrepreneur, owned and operated Forever Young Photography and prior to this, owned Carmela's Daily Maid Service and Young's ARCO in Liberty.
He was a member of St. Patrick Church and the IOOF No. 495, both in Hubbard and was a volunteer with the Trumbull County Red Cross and the Boy Scouts of America. Jack was a U. S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean War, he enjoyed cooking, gardening and was an avid photographer.
His wife, the former Carmela R.Vitucci, whom he married in 1954, died on March 5, 1995.
He leaves two sons, Steve Young and Ron (Terri) Young, both of Hubbard; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and his companion, Mary Ann Willis of Hubbard.
Besides his wife, his parents, a son, George Young and a sister, Caroline Rush, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
