HUBBARD J. Porter Alexander, 58, of Hubbard, died Sunday evening, July 17, 2005, at Northside Medical Center. He was born November 22, 1946, in Portland, OR, a son of James and Erin Livingston Alexander and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Alexander was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hubbard. A 1964 graduate of Hubbard High School, he attended the University of Miami in Coral Cables, FL, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and was on the track team. He also attended Parsons College in Parsons, IA. Porter was a member of SAR and enjoyed photography, landscaping and gardening.

He leaves his brother, James H. (Jeanne) Alexander of Hubbard and two nephews, J. Blake Alexander and John H. Alexander, both of Hubbard.

His parents preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at Hubbard Union Cemetery in Hubbard.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.
