HUBBARD Irene E. Medve, 93, of Hubbard, died Tuesday evening, January 3, 2006 at Northside Medical Center. She was born September 4, 1912, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Julia Varko Medve and lived most of her life in the area.

Miss Medve worked for Aeroquip Rubber for 20 years, retiring in 1971. Prior to this, she worked at the Ravenna Arsenal during World War II and was of the Catholic faith.

She leaves a sister, Elizabeth Mesaros of Youngstown.

Her parents preceded her in death.

There were no calling hours or funeral services.

Arrangements were handled by the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard.
