GIRARD Ida M. Zeitler, 88, died Tuesday morning, April 28, 2015 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born June 20, 1926 in North Dakota, a daughter of Christian and Anna Voreiter Mang and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Zeitler, a homemaker, was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Youngstown and she enjoyed bowling.
Her husband, Joseph LeRoy Zeitler, whom she married in November of 1947, died May 5, 1952.
She leaves a son, Edward Zeitler of Queen Creek; a daughter, Beverly Adams of Girard; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Lida Blanche King and Mary Alice Wiles and several nieces and nephews.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronald J. Zeitler; a daughter, Nancy Zeitler; 6 brothers, Chris, Emil, Joseph, John, Nicholas and William; 5 sisters, Anna Gifford, Lena Lightner, Theresa Dieter, Pauline Dash and Elizabeth Krut.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Kelly officiating. Family and friends may call on Monday two hours prior to the services from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to the Shepherd of the Valley in Niles for all the wonderful care Ida received.
Interment will be at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
